Jody R Goode in Inspirations of Saying Good-bye

In Memory of Donald L Dick (1936-2000)
The "Dirt Doctor" and Master Gardener

I have prepared a very special place for you, My son,
come now and rest your weary head.

You've worked so hard and accomplished much
~ I see it all in the hearts you've touched.

I witnessed every seed you planted,
every plant you watered,
every weed you pulled,
and the love you cultivated throughout your garden of life.

You thrived on the simple joy of seeing the bud of any flower
blossom into beauty before your very eyes,
with never one thought of the hours of toil and loving care
required to reap this wondrous splendor.

As with you~ each blossom, showered in love, shall never truly die.
While you're away they will surely live on in the hearts of those you loved.

Here's your room, My son ~ decorated with your many rewards,
collected over the years for you...
Each blossom you ever grew ~ each heart you ever loved.

And here, with only one season and life never-ending, they will always be in bloom.

You have blessed My heart and this moment I treasure.

Welcome Home, My son.
